2019.03.28 | MITT

13th-17th August 2019, MTA Centre for Ecological Research, Balaton Limnological Institute, Klebelsberg Kuno street 3., Tihany H-8237

It is our pleasure to announce that the Department of Experimental Zoology of the MTA CER, Balaton Limnological Institute and its partner, pcongress.hu are planning to organize the next invertebrate neuroscience meeting named as the "1st Symposium on Invertebrate Neuroscience" in Tihany, Hungary, to be held August 13-17, 2019.

Homepage of the conference is here.

As many of you already know, the MTA Centre for Ecological Research, Balaton Limnological Institute located directly on the shore of Lake Balaton was the traditional site of the earlier ISIN symposia held since 1967, offering an exceptional private atmosphere for scientists to meet and discuss recent developments of the research field.

The 1st Symposium on Invertebrate Neuroscience in Tihany will focus on the most recent discoveries in invertebrate neuroscience from molecules to behavior. The conference will be devoted to the comparative neurobiology of invertebrates with special attention to the following priorities: chemical senses, related adaptive behaviors, and chemical-ecology. In addition to the wide range of scientific insights a special emphasis will also be placed on cutting edge technologies in invertebrate neurosciences. The conference will be held for five days and will include three or four key-lectures, oral communications and two poster sessions.
