Dear Friends of Brain Stimulation,

We are delighted to announce the OptoDBS 2024, which will take place at the Campus Biotech in Geneva, Switzerland, from June 12 to June 14.

Under the motto “reinventing neuromodulation”, OptoDBS 2024 will present cutting edge science in DBS and optogenetics to enhance our understanding of neural circuit dysfunction in behavioural diseases to inspire novel DBS protocols. 

We have decided to widen the scope by including work on non-invasive stimulation and Sonogenetics. The latest results from preclinical presentations will interleave with clinical studies from leading experts. 

We are particularly thrilled to announce the keynote lectures of Aryn Gittis, Nader Pourtian, Helen Mayberg, and Andres Lozano – all eminent leaders in optogenetics and DBS.

We will select several additional speakers from the submitted abstracts. Please be sure to declare your interest when registering. We also have several travel grants for early-stage participants.
