Joint FENS / SfN statement on the treatment of Nikos Logothetis

2018.08.09 | MITT

Dear colleagues,

For your information, today FENS and SfN have issued a strong statement of concern regarding the treatment of Prof. Nikos Logothetis and his colleagues at the Max Planck Institute of Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen, Germany (see attached).

Both FENS and SfN believes that the current treatment of Prof. Logothetis represents a dangerous path to take for reserach institutions when scientists are under attack from animal activists. On behalf of FENS and SfN I encourage that you share this joint statement on your society website and link to the communication that is shared by both SfN and FENS on their websites and via social media.

Available in the news section on FENS website: https://www.fens.org/News-Activities/News/20181/08/FENS-SfN-Joint-Statement-on-Prof-Logothetis/

Thank you for your help!

Best wishes,

Lars
